About JSTF North - Our Story, Mission, and Beliefs

Our Mission

Our foremost mission is to **get the Word to everyone.** We strive to tell the complete truth of Jesus Christ, grounded in the Apostle's Doctrine as found in Acts 2:42. We aim to show people the necessity of belief (Hebrews 11:6), baptism, and being filled with the Holy Ghost (John 3:18) for a transformed life.

What We Believe: The Apostle's Doctrine

At the heart of JSTF North, **we follow the Apostle's Doctrine (Acts 2:42):** "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

This means our teachings, practices, and community life are centered on the foundational truths and instructions given by the apostles of Jesus Christ. We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and unchangeable Word of God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death on the cross for the sins of humanity, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal, imminent return. We emphasize salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, which includes repentance from sin, water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38, Acts 19:5-6).

Our Story: The Journey of JSTF North

JSTF North was born from a divine calling. Our pastor, Edward A. Gresham Jr., served faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Shaw within the Jesus Saves Thru Faith (JSTF) organization in Florida. Through prayer and guidance, the Lord called Pastor Gresham to establish a new work. He embarked on a journey to Sandusky, Ohio, with a fervent desire to preach the unadulterated gospel of God and establish a local church where the Apostle's Doctrine would be the cornerstone of faith and practice.

Since our beginnings, JSTF North has been committed to being a beacon of light and hope in the community, welcoming all who seek to know Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We are a growing family, dedicated to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and outreach, striving to make a positive impact in Sandusky and beyond.
